Seed Cycling

Seed Cycling is one of the many ways we(women) can naturally balance our hormones. Seeds are tiny little power houses that can make an enormous difference on our health. You can eat them in fruit salad, seed balls(recipe coming soon), in smoothies or as a topping to any meal.

A normal mensural cycle should be about 28 days long. Hormones take a long time to change and go back to normal after any traumatic event. This is a helpful way to get your body back on track again. It may take your body between 3 -5 months to see a difference with seed cycling so be patient.

Days 1-14: (Beginning of cycle until ovulation)
~ 1 T Flax seeds
~ 1 T Pumpkin seeds

Days 15-28: (ovulation to end of luteal phase)
~ 1 T Sunflower seeds
~ 1 T Sesame seeds
